Maybe I have my crabby pants on today (likeLy) but I find the "queer almost-representation" bit to be annoying. I don't think we should give LMM cookies for one tiny line that leaves Hamilton in the textual closet, and once again leaves it up to fans to explore and represent queerness in the life of someone who was very likely actually bisexual.
I am a straight cis ally here so I don't want to speak for QUILTBAG
folks, but yeah, I am also a little peeved that "Hamilton" features
queer ALMOST-representation in sort of a Dumbledore-esque way; I enjoy
and love "Hamilton" a lot, but I agree with you on this. And I too would
like to hear other opinions.
