Hey everyone!
I thought people on this group might be interested in a project I've been working on for the last 6 months or so with a group of artists in NYC. It's 10 classic Musical Theatre showtunes reimagined for contemporary radio. The project is called "Give My Regards to Broadway: Classic Showtunes Reimagined"
However track #2 on the project is "Getting Married Today" from Company as a Hip-Hop track, performed by Mr. Hercules Mulligan/James Madison himself, Okieriete Onaodowan! It also features Travis Kent (from Broadway's "Disaster") singing the hook. The track was arranged by Scott Wasserman who built the beats for Hamilton. For a while his Playbill designation was "Beatmaster" which I think is just about the coolest Broadway credit imaginable.
Anyways, I hope you all like the track, it can be found here: https://youtu.be/zLIcTvFEJdE?list=PLu_Sa1NZEPY4fbQu_Wf8SL_neakBLJP1r
The rest of the tracks can be found at www.neddonovan.com/GMRTB
Thanks for checking us out, and hope you like it!
