How the lottery works

hamiltunesLottery starts 2.5 hours before show. (Show starts at different times on different days). Names can be added until about 2 hr, 5 min before show.
You can request 1 or 2 tickets.
Required to fill out your legal name on the paper slip. (Email is optional.)
There is a line on the sidewalk. Once you've filled out the slip, you must get off the sidewalk and into the street (there is an area blocked off).
Must have $10 or $20 cash on you and your license / legal photo ID. (Facebook does not count as photo ID).
If you are requesing 2 tix, both people must be there (they are going to put a wrist band on both of you.)
How many names get drawn depend on how many tickets people are requesting. (Most people come in pairs but some people only need 1). The entire first row is raffled off.
There are sometimes, but not always, SRO tix available. These are standing room tickets at the back of the mezzanine. The names are pulled from the same lottery bucket after the $10 tix are gone. These tickets cost $40 (cash or credit).
At the end of the lottery they have recently started selling the physical CD (for $30). This is the only place it is available right now.
If there is a #Ham4Ham performance, it is at 2 hr, 5 min before curtain. (5 minutes before the ticket drawing). Not sure if these occur on a set schedule or not.
2pm Wed & Sat matinee (11:30am, noon)
3pm Sun matinee (12:30 pm, 1 pm)
7pm Tue & Thur evening (4:30 pm, 5pm)
8pm Wed, Fri, & Sat evening (5:30 pm, 6pm)
Friday 10/2 was a benefit performance for Wesleyan and there was not a ticket rush then.
