Just saw Chicago matinee
Dec. 22nd, 2017 06:24 pm I didn’t conceive that the staging is as wonderful and surprising and inventive as the music we know so well. I was riveted for three hours.
it was lovely. I knew I’d cry — I hadn’t expected I’d be laughing this hard.
The Chicago company is outstanding: I had some concern that it wouldn’t match the magic of the ORCA. Totally unfounded.
The sightlines from the accessible seats are outstanding: exactly center stage. The theater is not drafty and not hot, at least on a warm 35F afternoon.

That's fantastic!
I am so happy for you!
and also "Why can't this be the case everywhere?"
Every theatre I've been to in [my city] (including theatres that were built in the past 5 years) the accessible seats are at the far left or far right of the stage...
